CALL FOR ENTRIES - National Institute of Cultural Heritage

April 29, 2014 | By francecanadaculture Canada

The Institut national du patrimoine (the National Institute of Cultural Heritage) is an institution of higher education which bears ties with the French ministry of culture and communication.

Its purpose is to recruit through competitive exams and initial training programmes curators of the French cultural heritage, French territorial public service and the city of Paris officials. It also selects through competitive exams and training programmes restorers of the French cultural heritage. Training programmes of both complementary trades within a same institute is a unique and original specificity one could not find anywhere else in Europe.

Last but not least, missions at the Inp lie within the framework of its campaign to send its students abroad through internships and to welcome foreign interns, all the while exporting its training programmes and its know-how through a network of international cooperation.

One of the goal of the Inp is to widen the range of its students and therefore offers opportunities for international trainees.

Please find below the application form to enter the Inp in the curator program or in the restorer program. Application deadline: May 23, 2014.
